Dermal filler injections are used to restore volume, smooth lines, enhance facial contours, soften creases and improve the appearance of scars. They can be used to define and enhance cheeks, lips, jaw, chin and nose. An amazing treatment to improve symmetry among facial features.

WHAT DOES THE PROCESS ENTAIL?
You will be seen by either a Doctor or Registered Nurse for your initial consultation, where you will receive a treatment plan and some advice regarding the best outcome for your concerns. Photographs will be taken for treatment progress and ice packs or topical aesthetic may be administered. 

Treatment may be able to be administered on the day of consult. Allow 30 minutes for treatment.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

Dermal Fillers last between six to twelve months depending on treatment, type of filler used and metabolism of your body. 

Repeat treatments will be dependent on your treatment plan and your clinician will advise of follow up treatments. Results may be seen immediately, but optimal results will be seen in one to two weeks after treatment.

IS IT PAINFUL?
While minimally invasive, pain and discomfort may occur depending on the patient. We apply a topical anaesthetic cream before the procedure to minimise this discomfort.
IS IT PREGNANCY SAFE?
It's best to wait until after your pregnancy or breastfeeding journey to have Dermal Filler Treatment
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY TREATMENT?
Patients may experience inflammation, minor bruising at the incision points and tenderness. Depending on the patient some find they are able to return to work the day after, others do allow around 1 week before commencing with any events and activities. Please avoid touching your face, avoid all facial procedures, strenuous exercise and sleeping face-down. 

A puckering or dimpling of the skin may occur which will settle in a few days. A full aftercare guide will be given to you after your treatment. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the clinic on (02) 4934 7826. 

A follow up and review treatment is usually booked for two weeks after your treatment to ensure optimal results are achieved.
